There goes my last week @ Cuscaden Residences. I still remember the "trauma" I felt when the HR informed me about shifting me to Cuscaden while I was still at Fortune Centre. I detest to bid goodbye almost every month. IS LIKE I ONLY WORK WITH THEM FOR LESS THAN A MONTH, & I GOTTA LEAVE. What sorcery is this. Once again, HR informed me about my new allocation starting from next week. Seriously.. The only positive thing I can see is that it's easier to countdown to the end of my Internship. (I just need to receive around 2 more emails from HR = END)
So anyway, it was a sudden decision for my manager to treat me & the AA (who's leaving as well) for lunch at Pan Pacific Orchard.
10 at Claymore
10 Claymore Road, Singapore 229540
Tel: 6831 6686
Lunch: S$39++
The view from my allocated seat
2-step fold napkin! & I love their glassware, pretty!
Lunch Menu (included for Buffet). We ordered one of each
"Peddler's Char Kway Teow"
Organic Omega Farm-fresh Egg | Chinese air-dried sausage
Spicy Prawn Noodle Broth
Chinese Roasted Pork | Vietnamese Tiger Prawn
"Penang famous Assam Laksa"
Rich Tamarind Fish stock | Farmed Sea Bass
I'm not a fan of spicy or assam or laksa, so I only tried the Char Kway Teow. I can say it's not THAT oily compared to those kopitiam you can find in Singapore. This is a plus point for me. Initially I was hesitant if I should order Char Kway Teow because all I know about this dish is OILY, FATTENING, TOO MUCH DARK SAUCE etc. However they proved me wrong. The Kway Teow is not oily, or I should say I don't feel sinful at all. LOLOL (Y)
I toured the buffet section, shamelessly snapping photos just to post on my blog.
The Hot Selection. I didn't like their hot selection because I ate only 1 out of 10 dishes.. The rest are Braised pork belly, Golden Vegetables, Duck etc which are not under my list.
I chose this ONLY.
So this explains why I didn't take other pictures under the hot selection HAHAHAH
My manager told me she LOVES their cold selection! Can you see sweet corn on the top left? YES I LOVE IT!! The rest are just meh, not appetizing to my fussy mouth, because I'm not a salad eater.
I'm not a Salmon eater as well. (Yes, asking me to dine at Buffet restaurant is simply a waste of money)
& finally my FAVOURITE SECTION!!!
DESSERT!
& MORE!!!!
Must specially highlight this Hazelnut Chocolate cake. Ritz Carlton Singapore is famous for their Tiramisu right? IMO, this Hazelnut Chocolate is the best.
I'm thinking if they sell this Hazelnut chocolate Cake as a whole. I want it for my birthday cake!!! 21st probably? :)
I didn't eat this. I restrict myself from the Chocolate Fondue. Argh there goes my marshmallow & strawberry dipped into the fondue :( But it's okay! I ate other desserts which made me super sinful as well!
I ordered 2 CREPES LOL. My all-time favourite : Freshly cut banana with chocolate syrup!
YAY, I LOVE CREPE! (It would be better if there's whipped cream & ice-cream. then again I'm restricting myself because whipped cream is the... KING OF FATS.
I literally "up-skirt" my crepe! HEHE doesn't look appealing but the taste is really there!
I love dipping bread into soup! Their lobster soup is nice, sadly they dont have mushroom soup (my favourite too)
My very first picked food. (yes, I go for fruits/dessert first before moving to main course/soup)
Simple talk + "coffee break" after our lunch!
Are you guys drooling on your keyboard already? I bet I did make your stomach growl! Thank you my dearest & youngest Manager + another colleague from other estate for the treat! Feel so loved. Just like what XT said, I am leading a good life because I'll get treated in every different site.
Enjoyed my lunch buffet very much although I just started my exercise plan. *tolong please maintain it this way*
