21st Birthday A :D

Celebrated A's advance 21st birthday @ Changi Airport last Saturday, 8/06/13. No, we're not flying overseas LOL. This celebration is the BEST cake feast I ever had so far. Why?

He gave a white lie to both of us (YY & I) by feeding him info of our preferred choice of cake flavour as well as the cafe available in Sg. I shall not elaborate in details if not his idea will be stolen! So end up he actually bought both of our most recommended cakes! Was totally fooled by his lie & got shocked at that moment but we still love you very much! Both of us were damn elated like kids la. omgomg lolol.

 Look at our excited faces when both RED VELVET CAKE was presented to us!

The very first picture of this post is actually Red Velvet Cake from NYDC. According to YY, NYDC originally removed Red Velvet Cake from their dessert selection. She still told A about her favourite cake incident & A personally emailed NYDC customer service & YAY THEY BROUGHT BACK RED VELVET! Another cafe restaurant which sells pretty red velvet ^^

"I heart you": Red velvet cake covered with decadent light cream cheese. 

Look at how pretty the cake is~ Although Red isn't one of my favourite colour, I really love to see cakes filled up with red sponges~ The name of this cake is "I HEART YOU"!

& for my selection... I told him I chose Red velvet cake from The Fabulous Bakerboy & HE REALLY WENT TO BUY OMG LA. He had a hard time finding this cafe, I must agree because it's NOT ulu yet it SEEMS ulu.

The Foothills is located opposite Liang Court! It's part of Fort Canning Park. 

Their Red Velvet cake is BEST for Red velvet PLUS Chocolate lovers! This is more of Chocolate whereas NYDC's is more of Cream cheese! Yay to Red velvet cum chocolate. It is decorated with small edible hearts somemore~ 

Okay enough of Red velvet!!! T.T There's a reason why I'm not craving/addicted to Cake during this period. I'll mention it maybe later.

Shared this with YY~ Lucky us, we did not order SO MUCH because I was on diet. IF I ORDER >1DISH, I will definitely regret because my stomach won't have sufficient space for my cake~ Omega Egg is a little salty due to their soya sauce!!

I forgot the name of this dish :( It's nice when you pour the black sauce over your chicken & rice!

Their hotplate tofu is NICE!! Although the portion is generally small. NOT ENOUGH FOR HUGE EATERS. Yes, the skin is damn crispy & the tofu (inner) is so soft! & their sauce is very special! Can you imagine I keep on scooping their sauce whenever I take 1 tofu? Too addictive liao.

Thank you so much for preparing THAT flawless white lie when the clever us (HAHAHAHA) couldn't even see through! You really make me feel that it's my birthday instead of yours! Even though I'm on diet, I still manage to complete that 2 slices of cake because I wanna show you that I value this celebration a lot. The past 3 years have really been a great one. You're someone who is freaking generous and give too much in a friendship. Thanks for being there for my past 2 birthdays, we have been through different cliques and end of the day i still feel it's better for us to hang out individually together with YY compared to large cliques. Lesser people = lesser conflicts & dissatisfaction. Congrats you have passed your Teenage years & you're a full-time adult now! I know your actual bday is on this friday, enjoy while you can okay? Remember, both of us are just a whatsapp group & 8 digits away! Thank you so much for loving both of us :)
