WL caught my awkward moment during the birthday song
The atmosphere and companions were quite surreal to me because this is the party which I had planned painstakingly since last year, from the venue to food, DIY dessert section and even the rough idea of my backdrop etc. Now that everything is over, I can confidently say that my party is successful! And many were busy snapping pictures away when I stood at the limelight position/blowing candles/singing song, especially this particular guy...

Just when I finish uploading my party photos onto facebook, him being the number 1 FB stalker ran into my room & requested to remove this picture above. "这照片很丑leh!" HAHAHA

Some of my friends stayed after the party and they even bothered to sing birthday song for me when the clock strikes 0000! Although this is a simple gesture, I was very touched as not everybody will remember your ACTUAL birthday but the date of your party instead. lolol

Apart from my parents, I have to thank JY the most. Yeah thanks for annoying the shit out of me while decorating the living room, you are providing suggestions but you used the wrong tone to do it. It would be better if...
"I think that we should place the 21 balloons right above the banner instead of placing it in between the skyline and the banner. I know that is your initial plan but the balloons will definitely get blocked by people. Let me know what you think"

RIGHT? People who used the wrong tone always cause misunderstanding and it leads to miscommunication. I felt that he isn't willing to help out at all. Love is all about supporting each other instead of creating fear inside right? I felt like I would get blamed if I didn't do something right just like that parallax matter. Moreover, I have no time to do double job intentionally.
You thought I would give you a mushy speech over here? NO! >:( 3 years is just a single digit, I believe even if we are to walk down the road for >5 years, there are rooms for improvement still. We can never completely understand each other, but we can learn from our mistakes and not just apologising and repeating the same mistake again. *hint hint*

Thank you all for coming although it wasn't a prime location for all especially for those who reside in the West. I'm so glad that my party has no hiccups and most of you followed my party "restrictions" by wearing the appropriate dress code. Although I didn't really get to engage a long conversation with everyone who attended this party, I hope nobody gets left out and this isn't something I want to see. Sorry if I'm not a good host on that day because honestly, before I could finish talking to someone, the other one will shout "MANDY" from elsewhere. I feel quite bad but I couldn't afford to ignore the rest too. Please don't ever think that I'm being rude for not completing the conversation! I started to feel my body aching after the party has ended, this showed how busy I was on 19 July 2014, way before my party starts at 6.30pm.
Special thanks to E, QP & PK for arriving earlier than the stipulated time just to see if I need additional help. PK even called to ask if there are any last minute items that I need! I appreciate that :)
G is like my personal assistant, she started to cut all the wordings, pictures and everything since Friday night. We only had 1 scissors so she did everything while I was... sorting out other stuff. Thank you for being my companion THROUGHOUT the chalet, not just the party itself.
YY is my beloved usher, the main source of my successful party! She went back home on Saturday afternoon, before she left, she ensures that all the decorations are in place and even discussed about the dessert table arrangements. Afterwhich, she didn't get to rest as she had to fetch my parents together with drinks and mum's cooked food all the way from Tiong bahru to Pasir Ris. That's not all, she also helped to pick my Aunt and Grandma from Pasir Ris MRT to Aranda country club as my grandma isn't in a good condition to travel by public transport. From Aranda Country Club, she was given half an hour to drive all the way to Blackbirdbakery's house located at Toa Payoh, as Brenn had to leave by 6.30pm. Oh my god as I'm typing this, I really owe her a huge favour. I don't think a relative will even help to this extent x.x
C & HM rushed down 1 day after they landed in Singapore, I bet they haven't finish washing their undergarments still HAHA. Thanks for providing additional help the moment you stepped into the chalet, and C for holding onto my 2-tier cake with 100% concentration (I hope HAHA) in YY's car to ensure the cake's SAFETY. You are my safekeeper for my 21st birthday cake! :D
I got too busy and I completely forgot to create a playlist in my computer. WL is here to save my "music" part, she tried to gather all songs that I love when I also forgot to download it HAHAHA with her fastest fingers. Thanks to her speaker that made it all possible. Although the DJ part was kinda fail due to the television (I can't switch it off as my guests are watching), I still appreciate WL's effort for bringing down. Hey, requesting a fashionista to stuff bulky items/bringing additional bag isn't appropriate at all! THANKS AH
Lastly JY, my everything in one. You know what I want without saying verbally. Despite all the messiness and the lack of time, you cared about my well-being, constantly asking if I'm hungry, if I need a drink, if I need a bite or anything. Anything that requires manual work, you are there for me. Collecting the Mahjong table, 20 stools and 1 small table, thank you. :) I hope you'll continue to place me in your heart! My party wouldn't be a success without you, because if my well-being is not in a good shape, the party won't even start without my faint presence. I love you ever since you showed me your love in Ritz. :)
I may have missed some out but you know it when I repeatedly mention the word "THANKS" to you! :D I love you all people, and for those who didn't attend my party e.g. Jazreel, I appreciate your thoughts okay? Wish you were here but I understand! :D
I enjoyed myself very much @ the party! With good food, good dessert, good place (not really) and good companion... what more to ask for?
