(Late post)
No, I'm not going to talk about traditional chinese curry here (misleading title), I'm going to separate them out! Anyway this is meant to be a late post, so I'll try my very best to recap what happened on last Friday lunch~
As mentioned previously, my FC's colleagues treated me to lunch! They gave me the privilege to choose any restaurant I wanted & this is the one! FAMOUS JAPANESE CURRY: Coco Ichibanya @ Bugis+.
The Interior design (view when we look up to the ceiling HAHA)
"Naggy" manager Mr Tan on my right, Judy (my aka liao AAA) on my left & Melvin on the extreme left who has a sense of humour, PO.
The menu is pretty interesting because there are 4 steps to order!
Thumbs up for Step 2 & 3!
If you're afraid of wasting rice/small eater, you are entitled to 150g of rice! What can be better than this? By asking for lesser rice, there's S$1 deduction! (Y)
Spice adjustment possible (except for Omu selection)! Dare to challenge your friends with more chilli? Or curry isnt the type for you yet you feel like trying? Choose your spiciness level WITHOUT any charge, even if you choose lvl 5.
Mr Tan chose Curry level 1. Pork Cutlet w Cheese is priced @ S$14 (Without cheese -S$2).
Judy & Melvin chose the same curry, but the spiciness differs. Judy chose lvl 3 while Melvin chose lvl 2. Thin-sliced pork curry is priced @ S$11. From what i've heard from both of them, lvl 3 is a little challenging. Lvl 2 is the average level mentioned from Melvin.
Last but not least... My selection! What can you expect from an egg-lover?
OMELETTE CREAM MUSHROOM CURRY @ S$13!
Frankly speaking, I was only attracted to the Omu selection, I wanted to try Omelette w Karrage but it's pretty overpriced. The cheapest under the Omu selection is Omu Kinoko. Initially I thought cream mushroom is just those typical taste, but for the sake of monetary value, I chose the cheapest anyway. I DIDN'T REGRET CHOOSING THIS! If I have the chance to visit Coco Ichibanya again, I'll choose this again! ^^ It's quite creamy and I didn't know that curry goes well with cream sauce topped with chewy mushrooms!
My posture looks so weird x.x All the best Mr Tan! Thanks for asking me "what grade do you want me to give you?" whenever I pass my logbook for your signature! XIEXIE!
I will miss Judy the most :( she's one of the best Admin assistant I've ever worked with. Her character is so bubbly & that's the reason why we can click well together! Keep in touch!
Lastly, Melvin, the property officer. Initially I was kinda afraid to interact with him because he doesn't looks like the friendly type. As 5 weeks passed, I was so wrong. HE IS SUPER FUNNY. Love roaming around the mall with him, posting all sorts of notices & criticizing those "PEOPLE". Will miss joking around with him as well!
Good colleagues come and go~ I must accept the fact that I'm not working there anymore. I promise this will be the last post whining about it! :D Anyway throughout these 5 weeks, I finally tried Barcook Bakery's bread selection & it is AWESOME till I realise I should really share this bakery shop with my readers!
MY ADDICTION! No, not just mine but MY BROTHER & JY'S ADDICTION TOO!
This is Mash Potato Nachos! (S$1.50)
Basically, mash potato are stuffed into this bread, topped with Nacho cheese (in the center)! After trying this out, I'll remember to add Nacho cheese to mash potato next time! Found out this combination really blends well together! Say HI to fats on the other hand :'(
My 2nd addiction!
This is Choz Banana (S$1.40)!
Yes, it's chocolate banana combination! I was amazed when I saw this because Chocolate-banana is only available under dessert selection. BUT ZOMG IT'S IN BREAD FORM. Love die this!
There are many other (interesting) selection but I'm just gonna share my top 2 addictions! Heard the Raisin Cream cheese is the best seller! I didn't try it because I hate Raisin. Oh no they should create Curry cream cheese (too obsessed over Omu Kinoko HAHA) bread soon!
That pretty sums up BREAD + CURRY. I still have a few more posts coming, I'm trying my best to update update update! Hope you enjoyed reading & gained more knowledge about certain combination (if you already know, GOOD FOR YOU)!
P.S. I'm blogging during my working hours. OPPS. Manager on MC = HAVOC TIME WITH NEW AAA HAHAHA
