I miss the hectic weekend I had few weeks back. Right after I concussed due to the exhaustion from 11th January (previous post), I had to wake up with an alarm to start the day with my DHLFM clique.

In case you're wondering, these people are my awesome polymates + HM who is missing.

Yea step one photoshoot like those blogshop model. Our inital plan to 49seats failed terribly, didn't know that they are only opened from 6pm onwards. So people who are planning to make a trip down to 49seats while the sun is still shining bright (like a diamond), please switch to your plan B.

As the title suggests, our plan B: Hightea @ The orange thimble. They are located right beside Tiong Bahru Bakery..

I chose their OT American breakfast and I can't stop munching on their chunky sausage! You get to choose the choice of eggs: either sunny side-up or scrambled. Additional $2 for hard-boiled and $4.90 for omelette style (3 eggs). If you look carefully, hamburger buns are included so you can "build" your own burger with eggs/bacon/mushroom/sausage! The only downside is that grilled tomato. omg it's too sour to my liking!!!

P.S. The Orange Thimble is tax-friendly so there isn't any hidden charges!
P.P.S. The cafe is relatively spacious so there isn't any problem for us to find a seat

Adventure Cove

Here for a short update! Finally stepped into Adventure Cove after 56831 years. Time to use my annual pass ^_^ Oh & they have modified their admission rate, do take note!

Previously their admission rate for Adult was priced @ $29 (flat rate, no peak rate). I'm so lucky that I applied for their annual pass because it makes me feel more worth to own it! 

Annual Pass for Adult = S$88.

Visit 3 times = S$99

#1 Advance celebration

My very very first advance celebration begins with my crazy polymates!

It happened 2 days ago, on Friday night. I didn't expect it to arrive so fast but I still love the mini surprise! Thank you for taking off your time (after work) to celebrate it with me! All along JY was in cahoots with them, dragging time for everybody to arrive & updating my whereabouts to them. *Infinity hugs for you* for making the surprise a success!

Bear in mind that I was super UNPREPARED for this, I had a long day at work, went to Tampines for Pasar Malam (WITH ZERO MAKE-UP & EXTREMELY CASUAL WEAR). 

Frankly speaking I'm not satisfied with the photos for that day due to my extra unglamorous face. Still, I LOVE THE COMPANION!

They decorated my room as well! Best spot in my bedroom for "DIY Photo booth"

Thank you M! You are always my most annoying BFF. I know i'm the culprit for your ankle injury during Year 1 orientation, that's kinda unique because this is how we started talking! 

Thank you WT! You are always my 2nd annoying friend who tends to make me boil. HAHAHA but it's not a negative way! Simply love your presence & laughter. Your blur and clumsy-ness is making our clique super alive! 

Thank you HM! You are always the "capable" one in my eyes. Thanks for putting in effort to purchase the present (I'm just guessing) & many other ways! I know you're a very busy woman because you gotta juggle among work, boyf, family and other personal matters! (CCA used to be part of it!) So i'm really glad that you're able to make time just for my birthday! Last long with your BF!

Thank you XT! You are always the joy of my poly life. I'm not implying you're a clown or whatsoever... but I really enjoy times spent with you! I'm forever laughing at your actions. I know you got an emotional side sometimes, I don't really wish to see that happening! So I pray that you'll be a cheerful siaozabor forever! 

& to my dearest W. Although you couldn't make it (and i've read your post), I appreciate your blessings and everything over the phone! I can feel that you really wanted to celebrate together with me! That's all I need from you! Hope everything's going well for you and all the best! I don't wish to see your emotional side as well! We really need to hang out soon, hopefully our adventure cove outing will be a success! YAY!

Tai is my dearest polymate, M's surname. Yes, Happy (belated) 20th Birthday! ♥♥ Our clique celebrated on his actual date, 1st Jun 2013. ZG is still missing in our clique, if you're reading this (which I highly doubt so), can you please please please contact us back? We miss you a lot & both W & I still talks about you okay! 

We had Tse Char @ some kopitiam located opposite Queensway Shopping Centre. Estimated waiting time was 30 minutes, food served was approx 40 minutes. One word to sum up: FAMISHED.

Trust me, you can never go wrong with your selection if you choose this Tse Char stall. The best Tse Char i'll choose so far.

As long as you're a carnivore/omnivore, YOU MUST ORDER THIS DISH. I'm not a food critic so I have no idea to use all those bombastic words to describe how this particular dish is outstanding from the others. JUST ORDER & TRY IT YOURSELF. That's the reason why I'm beginning to drag my friends to this Tse Char stall for dinner! :)

Simply love women who camwhore a lot to take photos for me, because I COMPLETELY TRUST THEIR PHOTOGRAPHY SKILLS. This is the fact! Have you ever encounter requesting help from passers-by (worse off, GUYS) to snap a photo for you, and the end product SIMPLY SUCKS until you delete/major edit that picture?! I did. They don't even know the basic requirements of snapping a photo. Somebody should create a tutorial about it. LOL

How we spent our Graduation Day 2013

Once again congratulations to all GraduatED Polytechnic Students! I'm filled with enviousness when I view all graduated pictures posted on Facebook! 3 years of hard-work had paid off! Last Friday was DHLFM's graduated batch. I was very proud of my polymates, especially my clique! Dolled up on Friday and had a post-graduating celebration with them! (Hm & Zg were unable to join us though)

Pancakes stuffed with potatoes, cheese & leek served with sautéed mushrooms & sour cream.

I love it! Glad that I didn't make the wrong choice. Savoury selection comes with your choice of butter & maple syrup). Although the presentation of sautéed mushrooms aren't that appealing, trust me, it's delicious! Do not judge the book by its cover~

Frankly speaking, strictly pancakes is kinda overpriced for pancakes, but it is a good place for meet-up with friends. The service is not up to the standard since we're paying for service charge. The way they gave us a table of 6 is like threatening us. I arrived first & requested for a table of 6, that particular server told me 70% of the people must be here to get a table. I understand why are they implementing this rule, so I agreed to wait for my friends to be here first. However, I don't understand why cant they "take note" for those who are here but their friends aren't here yet? I don't know if you get what I mean but... we got to repeat ourselves again when everybody is present. They told us we were able to get an indoor table of 6 BUT we must leave within 2hours. The moment your guests are informed that they are required to LEAVE within a certain time simply turns them off. We are paying for the service charge, and is this what we are supposed to be treated? WELL, SORRY BUT I AM MAJORING IN HOSPITALITY, service does matters to me. Okay I shall not pollute my readers' mind with negative feedback related to their service.

Come to think about it, my graduation will be held next year & I won't be present. Graduation is nothing without friends. To me, attending your graduation alone is meaningless eh. You can't camwhore with your robe with friends. Just you and yourself. Yep, I guess I won't have the chance to wear a graduation robe YET. 

The next day (Saturday), the hardworking me traveled to M's house for swimming session after my half-day of work. Totally in love with Condominiums leh. I really wish to have these facilities built right below my house.

K i'm tired, I have work tomorrow & I SHOULD SLEEP NOW. Kinda miss working at RC. All these don't really matter anymore. Because all the people I used to work for... is no longer there. It's meaningless.
