LUCK WAS ON MY SIDE!!!

This contest is really hassle-free. I don't have to make a trip down to their office to collect my hamper, Alliance Cosmetics Pte Ltd appointed a courier company to deliver the hamper right to my doorstep (supposingly)! Again, this is Courier service apart from the Hada Labo Perfect Gel sponsor ^^

I was soooo excited for it because I don't have to pay a single cent just to get-a-present-for-myself (the logic of buying stuff online = buying present for myself to unwrap). Anyway the deliveryman was very kind and understanding, he actually called to check if I was at home but unfortunately I was serving my Internship still at that point of time. Hence I tried my luck to request if he can send it to my workplace & he agreed without hesitation! (Y) Thumbs up for Sam! Not only I praise him, I also send a compliment email to Rena, the one who is in-charge of the winners. Glad that my compliment letter is recognised!

BB Cream (White)

I have not tried any of these products YET so there won't be any reviews on it la, but I'm contented enough to receive free cosmetics :) I'm a little disappointed with the BB cream because my skin is pretty tanned, I dislike applying products that WHITENS my face. In fact, I avoid choosing cosmetic products that has whitening effect. :( 

Fortunately, this may be beneficial to me still. According to Silkygirl, their magic BB cream has the ability to work in more ways than one. It also acts as a concealer, natural eye primer, lipstick savior, renews skin cells and highlighter.

Chanced upon this interesting video on youtube. This video doesn't belong to me! I think I'm on the safe side, because I could hear till UNDER 24 but I couldn't hear UNDER 20! :( Hopefully my hair cells are in the safe zone! 

If anybody panicks just because you can't hear what you're SUPPOSED to be hearing, please. Tell to do something about it. Stop increasing the volume of your music. Sometimes I even hear music thru earpiece. SERIOUSLY. It's meant to be heard for yourself only, it isn't a speaker. Change your habit before you regret :)

Halfway thru....

How's everybody living in Singapore? Yes I know, the PSI (Pollutant Standard Index) level is seriously absurd. At times, I really feel that NEA's updates on PSI level is not accurate at all. I've also heard people (from fb / twitter) mentioning that the actual level is WAY higher than what they posted. They are just averaging out the 3-hour level. Suddenly, I miss the fresh & clear sky. 

Although I'm very very displeased with the current situation now (My hair, clothes and body stinks. I was gasping for fresh air/holding my breath whenever I'm outdoor etc), the haze actually kills insects. I was walking along Henderson blocks & I saw COUNTLESS dead bodies of cockroaches. I'm not kidding. The entire path is filled with their dead bodies I have no idea why. This is the only positive side I can think of. Other than that, it's really killing us. 

What my friend said was right, the Council will continue to inform us to stay indoors etc, ignoring the fact that everybody is travelling in the early morning be it work/school. They will only take actions when somebody FAINTS from this lousy weather. I'm glad that I did not take MRT transportation during this period because I heard it's super stuffy, you're basically suffocating yourself with the rest. I've been taking buses all these while & at least I have a seat, nobody to squeeze together with me. P.S. try to take those newer bus versions, I don't know why but their air is fresher. 

I've a really great plan for this coming weekend, please rain & haze haze go away *crosses ALL fingers*

Finally received my free samples from Hada Labo ^^ Whitening Lotion & Cleansing oil make up remover!

They are really generous because my package includes 1 whitening lotion bottle & THREE Cleansing oil! YAY!

Actually I just love receiving free items. This is for whitening PURPOSE, which I have absolute no interest.... Probably i'll give to my friends. Anybody wants to be fairer? It's a lotion (also a toner).

TBH, I do find my blog kinda dead yet I have no outstanding post at all. So just post random stuff to make it more lively!

FYI: Unknown substances in Singapore

Thanks to Malcolm's reminder, I shall try my best to make extra effort to UPDATE often. The reason why I ain't updating regularly is due to my mundane life seriously. Every weekdays 9-6pm, alternate saturday 9-1pm, what's interesting for me to blog about? :\

Anyhow, I'm somebody who detest reading, be it books, newspapers & anything that involves a chunk of paragraph in English. Magazines can be counted as one because I always browse through magazines & taking note of pictures instead of reading it in detail. So my internship life is getting real boring and I can't even believe this is me - sub-consciously I walked to the newspaper area & The Straits' Times newspaper is on my desk!!! I really took every minute to read every single word of the article. I came across this interesting article titled:

"Nurse burnt by substance on train seat"

... Seriously?

I still remember an incident Boy burned by "liquid" on seat of bus stop in Bukit Batok few weeks back. Why is this happening? I don't know what to click for the Mood Meter on Stomp.com.sg relating to this article, should we be enraged, LOL or ewww?

Frankly speaking, this sound like a laughing matter to me, but there's been 2 similar incidents happening & I am indirectly involved because I am a civilian who takes transportation in Singapore! As quoted from ridiculous stompers, "More could also go unreported. A serial nutcase is on the loose. Until some VIP or senior government people burned their backside, the police will not take this case as priority."

TRUE STORY. It is reported that "tests could not identify what he sat on". Why? Nobody knows the reason but there's one thing we as Singaporeans can be assure of. The culprit is a real lunatic, a nutcase as quoted. SERIOUSLY. 

I've decided to share this article on my blog because I feel that this is something that we should be aware of, because I believe 99% of my readers do take transportation just like each and everyone here. So please check the seat thoroughly before you take your seat, don't just sit down blindly and got burn by those unknown "acids" because both you and I know that this case is avoidable. Even if you're dead tired & you feel that sitting on water is all right, think twice. Think about these unfortunate incidents that has happened. Would you rather take a seat & got burn or stand in uncomfortable position & preventing second-degree burns?
