Working Title cafe

Hello earthlings! I know I have been lacking of posts lately as I'm busy preparing for our Open House next month. Too many deadlines to meet as well as the tediousness to liaise with the respective teams and vendors... I'm almost dead but I will definitely hang on!

I realized the need to clear my photos and ignite the activeness towards regular blogging. Anyway, let's start from some foodporn~

Made a trip down to the Working Title cafe located beside Haji Lane back in September 2014 with XT.

That's the USS Halloween brochure and we decided to conquer our fear HAHAHA. I'm glad that I went for the Halloween event. Ain't going to blog about it as the photos are too cui and I still remember vividly how lethargic we were!! Can't believe I'm out of my house for almost 18 hours.

Rosti @ $10.90
Classic potato pancakes, chicken sausage & sunny side up served with side of greens

Honey Lemon wings @ $9.90
Juicy marinated middle wings coated with honey & cooked with lemon

Plain water and condiments

The cafe is located right under a backpacking hostel and it gives off the retro yet cosy feel upon entering the cafe. There are pies from Windowsill right at the entrance so if you're craving for Windowsill pies, Working Title might be the better alternative in terms of location.

I would not recommend their Honey Lemon chicken wings as they use CP Honey Wings and not those chicken wings cooked from scratch! I am extremely confident about this as I'm an avid fan of CP products and Honey Wings is my most preferred frozen food!  That tin of chicken wings cost us $10 for just ~12 wings when I can purchase 1 packet at $5.50 with the same amount of wings haha

As I'm not a fan of Rosti, I didn't really enjoy their rosti set as shown above. The sausage tasted weird and the rosti is identical to Hashbrown. In conclusion, I wouldn't make a trip down to this cafe again as their Menu is extremely limited. Click here for their Menu list, I managed to retrieve this from their Facebook. Personally, I felt that the variety of food is extremely limited, however the ambiance of the cafe managed to balance the overall satisfaction.

Nevertheless, what stops me from going back to this cafe is not purely on their limited Menu. XT & I actually witnessed a rat running across from their storeroom to the back of the can machine. We were seated at the backyard so can you imagine I have to pray hard that the rat won't jump onto me when we need to exit the backyard? After noticing the rat, I can't help to refrain myself from thinking about all the contaminated food served and stuff. Oh well, fortunately, I didn't get diagnosed with food poisoning.
